TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
Welcome to Woodshill Byres Holiday Cottages. When you make a booking you are entering an agreement with us.
Payment Conditions: We require a 25% non-refundable deposit by cheque or bank transfer and the booking form completed. A confirmation of booking will then be sent to you via e-mail. The balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. Non payment of balance is taken as a cancellation. Start dates within 6 weeks of booking require full payment at the time of booking. Last minute bookings require cash on arrival.
Prices: Included is all electricity, heating, supply of bedding, towels, tea towels, hand wash, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, 2 toilet rolls in each bathroom.
Cancellations: If you need to cancel the booking please contact us immediately. If we succeed in re-letting your dates we will refund all monies paid. If we cannot re-let you will be liable for the full amount. We recommend you take out cancellation insurance.
Cancellation due to guest inability or disinclination to travel for any reason remains at the risk of the guest. This includes but is not limited to illness (including Coronavirus/ Covid 19), a requirement to self isolate or quarantine, shielding, jury duty, military service, change in personal or work circumstances, family emergencies and travel delays. If you choose to cancel we will do our best to relet your booked property and if successful you will be entitled to a refund less any difference in price between your booking and the replacement booking.
You are strongly recommended to take out UK travel insurance to cover these eventualities. If you choose not to take out UK travel insurance, then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.
CORONAVIRUS CANCELLATION: Bookings made from December 31st 2021. Cancellation due to Government restriction and/or local lockdown (based on booking address) legally instructing you not to travel your booking will be refunded in full or booking can be transfered to within a year of the cancelled date.
Guests: The number of persons making use of the property must not exceed the stated number on the booking form.
Visitors: Please let us know if you would like to have visitors to the property.
Arrival: Your accommodation will be available from 4.30pm on the day of arrival.
Departure: Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 10am on the day of departure and try to leave the property as you found it.
Pets: Sorry we do not accept pets on the property.
Smoking: We have a no smoking/vaping policy in the cottages.
Damages and Breakages: Please take care of our accommodation. In the event of any breakages or damage, we reserve the right to invoice you for the cost involved. If any problem does occur let us know immediately so that we can rectify it as soon as possible. We reserve the right to enter the property for essential maintenance or deal with an emergency.
Liability: We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Data: Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on our computer.
