We rented the Bull Box for my mother to stay in as we were in the Dairy Byre opposite. She was very happy with the stay and would 100% book again. She was very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the cottage.
The barn was perfect! It was a really peaceful stay and definitely felt warm and inviting. We had everything we needed for our stay; the kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms were great (the ensuite shower is amazing) and it was spotlessly clean. The barn is on a working farm but other than hearing the cows now and then, there was no disruption whatsoever (in all honesty, I really liked hearing the cows moo!). All in all a perfect stay.
The Dairy Byre is a delightful place to stay, beautifully and very sympathetically converted. There are ample very efficient heaters if needed and a fully fitted laundry room next to the property. There is an ensuite to the main bedroom and full bathroom next to the second bedroom.
Enjoyed a super stay at Susie’s….. despite chilly March weather the cottage is lovely and warm. Fab 5 star accommodation… top quality in every dept. including super comfy bed…. and top notch cleanliness. Many thanks for a special birthday stay,

We really enjoyed our Christmas at Dairy Byre. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean with all the equipment and facilities we could want. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Susie was very quick to respond to any questions, and was contactable should we need anything. We loved the bottle of wine and mince pies we found on arrival, and it felt very cosy and homely with the Christmas tree. We would definitely stay again and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful, cosy single storey cottage for their holiday.
