For a full day out Arundel has a wonderful Castle, boating lake, river boat trips and wetlands…and a lot of Antique shops!

The cottages are walking distance to Nyetimber, Nutbourne and Kinsbrook vineyards.

Fun days out for the children include Fishers Farm Park and Southwater Country Park. Coombe Farm Steyning and Gaston Farm Slindon offer lambing experience and cuddles, tractor and trailer rides too …for grown ups as well!

Bluebell Railway, Sheffield park- Who doesn’t enjoy a steam train ride?

On that note take a train to London and visit the museums, theatres and Royal Palaces. We are a 5-minute drive from Billingshurst railway station (direct line to London Victoria.)

A day on the beaches of the South Coast or a brisk walk on the South Downs…maybe just drive to the top and enjoy the views… A bit of golf or horse riding locally.

After all that adventure why not have a nice cup of tea in one of the many tea rooms in the local villages or for that special occasion you could book afternoon tea at Amberley Castle.

Whatever you decide to do it is all within easy reach of Woodshill Byres.
